NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting will be held on

Saturday 20 May 2023 at 2.00pm at Strutts Centre Belper

The DAS library will be open before the meeting from 1.00pm

  1.  To receive apologies
  2. To approve the minutes of the AGM held on 28 May 2022
  3. To consider matters arising from the Minutes
  4. To consider and, if approved, to adopt the annual Report for 2022
  5. To consider and, if approved, to adopt the Accounts for 2022
  6. To elect officers for the Society for the year 2023:
  7. To elect / re-elect members of Council
  8. To receive the names of the elected Section Officers
  9. To appoint Cameron Hughes Ltd to prepare the accounts for 2023 and for Mr Grahame Gilbert as independent examiner, if required by the Charities Act.
  10. To consider any other business

Following the formal business of the AGM there will be a presentation about the restoration of the sundial on the Etwall Almshouses which the society has supported with a grant from the Monica Pilling Bequest.
